I was told, in reference to public speaking, if you are not confident about speaking in public you should ';fake it till you make it';, in other words, make every effort to appear confident even if that's not how you are appearing internally.
Yes, someone can appear confident even if they do not actually have true confidence.Does showing confidence not necessarily mean you have true confidence?
Absolutely, sometimes people put up a false front for one reason or another but if you spend time around that person you will see the real one eventually. Some are just on an ego trip and think they have to better or tougher than anyone but in the end the results or fruits of their labor will show and they will be exposed for who they really are.
