Winning completely depends on what you see as the prize you are targetting. is it the mere glory of coming first and getting a belt/medal then you can do anything to win. i am a martial artist and to me winning is to have a good fight with a good opponent. not killing my enemies/ breaking them to pieces. So it entirely depens on what matters to you, glory/personal satisfaction/honour.What should I do to win? To be the true champion on this very mean life?
Do not do any different things, but do the things differently.
There is nothing to win just death for all of us no matter what.

Like is not a contest or a zero sum game. I'm not trying to ';win';. Let your conscience and ethics be your moral compass, and you may find happiness. You sure won't find it by trying to go down to the mat with life to ';win';.

You have to compete with yourself every moment, so that every moment you emerge as a better person as compared to your own profile the earlier moment. Excellence should be your target whether as a dancer or a fighter, in any field but certainly not as a freak on the sheet.
The anything I would do was to try every possible means to make myself like and love myself. As for winning the prize would be self love!
