truth gives it more power so why not just come out and admit that they're unlucky with looks? It's technically true that people born with birth defects are ';ugly';, cruel but true fact? I mean to deny a
What particular ugly person are you referring to, in order for us all to collectively pass judgement. It's technically true that people born with birth defects are ';ugly';, cruel but true fact? I mean to deny a
To me you illustrate something interesting:

Mutation is alledged by evolutionists to be the engine of evolution. Yet, every mutation we see is, not just ugly, but usually deadly.

To me this just highlights the absurdity of the evolution religion.
if health is beautiful then deformity is of course ugly.. but its all subjective so you can't really generalize
It is true, but only until one learns to accept abnormality, to see pass appearances and to peer into dark twisted thoughts of truly ugly people.
depends wat kind of birth defects. But yea i hate it when ppl start calling ppl with birth defects that r butt ugly as being beautiful. ';Shes beautiful';, they must have some serious eye sight problems.
depends on the birth defect of course, but people are genetically programmed to be attracted to healthy individuals with symmetrical features, good skin tone, healthy weight, etc.

Luckily beauty is only skin deep, and those people who are unlucky enough to be born without physical beauty can still be appreciated for their personality and character, by those who are willing to look beyond the surface.
Of course it's true - and many other things like it - a girl who stays flat chested after puberty is crushed - as is a boy who stops growing at a relatively short height - or anyone born with a disability - I don't know who we think we're fooling with all our denials and euphemisms -

Very sad things befall us - no Facking doubt.
the truth is that they ARE physically unattractive, and they of all people know that better than any one else.

and such a person also would realize that people are just being nice when they say ';you look beautiful today';.

as far as concealing the truth goes, what should stop us from being nice? i mean, it sure would not be nice to be truthful and tell a girl with physical defects that she looks like sh!t in her new dress.

hopefully, not every individual has the same taste for skin deep beauty. so there's a good chance for someone to fall in love with an unfortunate-in-the-looks-dept.-person's nature, voice or any other non-looks attribute.
It's not so much ugliness as not the best possible mate to share your genes with.

After all we are just animals and the peahen does not choose the scrawny bald peacock.
