Consider that many great innovators and artisits were, in their time, not at all appreciated for their efforts because what they were doing was not in line with the mainstream. Yet those who were most successful in the mainstream are often lost in the annals of history. This is because it's the true genius that dares to go above and beyond what society currently considers ';good'; or ';normal'; and those two ignorant to escape the proverbial ';box'; are then likely to criticize the efforts of the true innovators.
