... evolution has the intelligence to design too?
I mean you can take a look at a human body and also all the animals that exist, does it not scream of a design, of a pattern to it as also some dissimilarities.
Does evolution then have a sense of design too?Looking at the human body does not one get a sense of design.If so %26amp; if evolution were to be true does it mean?

Not at all. If you study evolution in detail you will see just how uncoordinated and haphazard it is. There are countless examples of its mistakes and ridiculous features that make no sense if designed.
Evolution isn't working towards a goal, its something that is just happening slowly all the time and if a feature is poor it gets stuck there as evolution can't go back and remove things, this is evidence as to the truth of evolution. If the human body was designed, why so many poor performing or useless features?
The process of evolution... the theory of evolution does not work that way! The path of evolution is the journey... God Almighty being the controller of all things cosmic! It was God Almighty that created the cosmic system. The entire cosmic cauldron is run like a supercomputer preprogrammed for everything!
The human form did not develop all of a sudden. It was after passing through 7.3 million manifestations in the insect, plant and animal form... our soul atman finally manifested the human form to reach the end goal of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! The journey in the human form is the most pleasant experience for our soul atman. Why?
It is only in human form our soul atman finally gains liberation from cycle of birth and death forever... regains its original lost pure prime pristine primordial form which was not possible otherwise! Evolution is part of cosmic process... inbuilt into every single trace of life! It is by evolving life moves ahead in the cosmic life cycle.
Similar as one KG of pure gold cannot separate itself from hundred KG lump of gold ore and requires external mining machinery and processes... every soul atman also requires a chain of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! Human beings gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) announce our soul atman reaching end of cosmic life!
In human form we have 1.1 million types of manifestations (call it intelligent design or whatever one may) to reach the stage of enlightenment and salvation. Reaching the cosmic end of life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation is the ultimate goal of every form of life on Mother Earth. Whether we travel the spiritual path now or later is the sole prerogative of every individual human being! More on Evolution- http://www.godrealized.org/human_evoluti鈥?/a>
No, I don't get a sense of design. If we were designed, we wouldn't have a nerve to our larynx that goes down to the torso and comes back up again. We wouldn't have eyes that are built upside-down and inside out. We wouldn't have an appendix that causes infection as often as it is useful.
We see patterns because our brains evolved that way- we needed that to be able to defend ourselves, interact with each other and find food.
My chronic back pains and poor eyesight says: crappy designer. No sane engineer would wire the human eye the way it is wired.
';Does evolution then have a sense of design too';
No, but natural selection will make something which ignorant people will construe as such. Why do we design things a certain way? Because they work. Why does natural selection lead to similar options? Because they work.
A good observation - you're speaking of homology and body plans evolving through descent with modification. The process is devoid of intelligence, rather what we see is the work of natural selection in changing environments for isolated populations of genetically variable organisms. This observation is supported and explained so well by modern evolutionary science that to suppose a supernatural ';intelligence'; must be involved is nothing more than Bronze Age reason grasping to be relevant in the 21st century.

The other answers seem to say imperfection means it can't be designed. There are plenty of products that have been made by humans (certainly designed by intelligence) that are ugly, useless, unreliable, etc. That does not mean they weren't designed by intelligence.
A better term might be you get a sense of ORDER. Certainly not the randomness that is suggested by evolution.
A crystal also looks like it was intelligently designed. Instead, it was just the shape of the molecules that made it form that way.
Evolution doesn't mean randomness, as in, cells arranged completely randomly and we'd have been just as likely to have our eyes inside our bodies as outside. Thanks to natural selection, which makes sure only the varieties that are useful survive, we were bound to evolve in a way that makes our bodies useful.
Oh, and, comparing us to products that humans designed with flaws is a bad example, since God is supposed to be perfect.
And, ';Lightning From the East';, stop posting those embarrassing chick tracts that understand nothing about evolution. You'll find all creationist arguments debunked here:

';Looking at the human body does not one get a sense of design.';
Sure, but you might also get the sense, looking at the landscape, that the world is flat.
Our instincts about the true nature of the universe are often wrong.
Patterns, absolutely, design, not necessarily. A big part of the beauty of the theory of evolution is that it predicts a complexity that we can barely fathom without resorting to design.
evolution doesn't have intelligence although genetics in itself can be a design that can make anything.
The answer to the first question is ';No.';
Design wouldn't yield Siamese twins and people who are born with their lungs on the outside of their body.
So, in my opinion, the rest of the question is void.
go research the recurrent laryngeal nerve, and then tell me the body is intelligently designed.
You are quite right. Looking at the human body certainly does not give me a sense of design.
However I suspect you meant to put in a question mark and meant the opposite. Errrm, FAIL.
If my body was designed, then it was designed for nothing but hot lovin'.
No. There are too many flaws to have been designed.
Nah, there are some ugly people out there.
I mean, I'm not great looker myself, but still some people I've seen lately. Yeeesh.
