What Does This Mean if This Is Actually True?

I heard about a poll that was conducted by survey usa, while watching MsNBC, that about 20% of the people who voted for Obama would have voted for Palin if she was at the top of the ticket. Is it possible that many independents wanted to get McCain out of the way, so that we could have president Palin in 2012? What Does This Mean if This Is Actually True?
I don;'t care what anyone says, those who voted for Obama would never vote for Palin even for city stump-digger. That'd be like those who support Mother Teresa's work suddenly supporting Stalin --- a totally stupid concept. This is obviously another republican dirty trick of trying to get Obama voters to vote for their ba$tard candidate in 2012! Ain't gonna' work, fools! What Does This Mean if This Is Actually True?
MSNBC.... so you were who was watching.......well beside Olbermans mom..........so not much credibility...... McCain pulled the normal base, but lost the indepent vote this time...that percentage gave Obama the 6% margin...
That's the first I'm hearing this. I found McCain acceptable. It was her I found completely awful. I can't understand her appeal. I just can't.
If they are suggesting that 20% of the voters are superficial idiots...I would have to agree.
What they all came up with the same idea?

Not likely.
