What does true American freedom mean to you? To me it means being able to travel anywhere in this world I like

People say that fighting a war in another country has nothing to do with our freedom. Well, this conservative is here to tell you that until Americans can freely step foot anywhere on this earth we please, we will not have complete freedom. In my view this planet should belong to everyone who supports the Red White and Blue.What does true American freedom mean to you? To me it means being able to travel anywhere in this world I like
It would take more than ';America'; freedom to be able to travel anywhere in the world.





But to me, freedom is the ability to say and do what I want, without interference from the government. I don't want them to tell me what I can say. I don't want them to tell me what kind of health care plan I'm going to get. I don't want them to tell me where I can go, what I can buy, what kind of school I have to go to, or any of that other BS. America is not the ';free '; country everyone thinks it is. Yeah, at the moment it might still be more free than some other countries, but we are headed in the wrong direction.What does true American freedom mean to you? To me it means being able to travel anywhere in this world I like
That would be nice but we don't offer the same courtesy to people of other nations. And I don't see the country letting up on the visas/requirements on non Americans any time soon (it's like hell for most to get in the country). The days of manifest destiny are gone and we don't have the right to march around the world like we own everything.





But to answer your question, I believe true freedom is being able to criticize the government without accusations of hating America. We have the right, to protest and stuff so why not execute it? protesting is, to me, one of the highest forms of patriotism because it shows you love the country so much that you want to see changes as to make it even better. There's nothing worse than indifference and blind complacency.
I'd like to be able to travel through any part of any AMERICAN city without fearing for my life!





Sure, I want the foreign terrorists kept out and/or under control but what are your plans for our own urban terrorists?
