My friend says he is going to search for the ';true meaning of life '; during weekend. What does that mean ?

I get very confused by his words. Guess what he is talking about. ThanksMy friend says he is going to search for the ';true meaning of life '; during weekend. What does that mean ?
it means he is going to waste a weekend in a fruitless search, unless he intends to spend it meditating to find his own answers inside himself, because that's ultimately where we all find our own meaning.My friend says he is going to search for the ';true meaning of life '; during weekend. he could mean several things.





1. He's looking for a wife





2. He's looking for sex.





3. If he's religious or a very emotionally disturbed confused athiest/agnostic then he is looking into religion.








and pretty much what everyone else said too.
he might be making a philosophcal approach, he might want to understand why we here? what is our purpose? how do we see ourself in the future? why do things happen? etc. Hope this answer helped i learned it at philosophy course.
Load of rubbish.(unless he leaves himself behind).
That means he doesn't know what is the true meaning of life. So He'll search for it.





I guess he'll do something he never did before, i.e., try to search for ';the true meaning'; in other directions.
It's something to make you feel better personally. You try to find the meaning or purpose of your life. I don't know how he can accomplish it in one week-end or at all.
