If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. ';Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house. ';He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

This passage indicates that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is ascribing to the devil things that God has accomplished. I don't believe incidental things are in view here, but an ongoing, continual attitude of the heart like the pharisees had that would make it impossible to be saved because they obstinately refuse to accept the things of God. Only faith in Christ saves, and if somebody refuses to come to God through Jesus, seeing him as false, or a worker of iniquity, there is no hope for that individual.





Hardening your heart against the work of God time after time may eventually harden it to the point where repentance is impossible. See Hebrews chapters 6 and 10. I think these chapters have the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit in view as well.

You are baptised in the Holy Ghost.


You operate in some of the gifts.


You believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.


It is blasphemy to walk in the fullness of the truth and then to turn you back and reject all these things.

I won't attempt to put it in my own words. But read Mark chapter 3. Verse 29 is where it mentions blaspheming the Holy Ghost. The definition of the Greek word blasphemeo is to defame, rail against, revile, and speak evilly of. I hope that this answers your question.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is different from blasphemy. It was a sin committed by individuals who denied the testimony of the Holy Spirit when the incarnate Son of God was walking this earth, teaching about the kingdom of God and performing miracles that proclaimed the authority he had received from the Father.


It is a sin that can no longer be committed because we no longer have the incarnate Christ walking among us.
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is saying that He does not exist.
Blasphemy of the HS is this: to call something Holy Unholy.


The only ones who are able to have any influence are the heads of the church. So if they call something holy unholy, they are headed for H-E-double hockey sticks, because they are the cause of the fall of many.





Regular blasphemy is just swearing and such, or simply saying that God doesn't exist. That is forgivable.

One of the things that amazes me as much as anything in this life, are those


people whose hearts become so hardened, that at some point they decide to go


to war with God. I honestly don’t know if there is anything more stupid a


human being could do. The Bible says in the 14th Psalm, “The fool says in


his heart there is no God.” If the Bible declares that a person who simply


says there is no God is a fool, what does that make a person who decides to


go to war against God, the One who created them?





Two such men, clearly fools who have become tools of satan are Brian


Flemming and Brian “Sapient.” Sapient is not really the second Brian’s last


name. He simply uses that because he fears for his life if his real last


name was known. Now that I actually find amusing. A guy who thinks he is big


enough to fight God, but so concerned about his personal safety he has to


hide his identity.





Just for a quick contrast, my real last name is Keller. My office address is


published to millions often. Where I produce my TV program each night is


published to the world often. Despite receiving an average of 10-12 death


threats a month for 8 years now, I have no security detail and no huge


staff. I don’t hide in secret offices or disguise myself when out in public.


I am a servant of the Lord, and a true servant has to be accessible or what


good is he? I find that only those who live in fear have to hide and worry


about people trying to harm them.





Flemming is the founder of “Beyond Belief Media” and the producer of a movie


called, “The God Who Wasn’t There.” Sapient is the founder of a group called


the “Rational Response Squad.” You can Google their names and these groups


they lead to read more about them. They have evolved over the years into


nothing more than tools of satan to actively lead people away from the


Christian faith and have now made it their life’s work to attack God, the


Bible, and Jesus Christ.





These two men have recently come together to start what they call the


“Blasphemy Challenge.” Again, you can take the time to Google “Blasphemy


Challenge” and go to their website and read all about this bold and brazen


outreach to lead your children straight to hell! This whole challenge is


based on the passage out of Mark 3:29 that says whoever blasphemes the Holy


Spirit has committed the unpardonable sin and will never be forgiven.





There has always been much theological debate surrounding this passage and


what it really means. Let me break it down for you in simple terms. The


bottom line is that there is only one sin that you cannot be forgiven for,


and that is rejecting Jesus Christ. Period. As long as you have breath, at


any moment you can cry out to the Lord, repent of your sins, and ask Him to


forgive you and your sins will be forgiven and you will be saved.





To blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to literally reject Jesus Christ. While


technically you can always ask God to forgive you, in reality what happens


is that a person’s heart becomes so hardened that it becomes virtually


impossible for them to ever have the desire or will to ask God’s


forgiveness. A perfect recent example is Adolph Hitler. Up until he pulled


the trigger and killed himself, he could have called on the name of Jesus


and been saved. However, his heart was so hardened from his rejection of


Christ, that was not even something he considered.





Satan’s tools Brian 1 and Brian 2 have put out a challenge for young people


to make a video of themselves blaspheming the Holy Spirit, or rejecting


Christ in different ways, and then post it on the popular video-sharing


website YouTube. So they are giving young adults who have rejected Christ


and the Truth of God’s Word at this stage of their life already, an excuse


and forum to make a bold and visible stand against Jesus Christ. This only


helps them to harden their hearts even more from being able to receive the


love of Jesus Christ. How sad is that?





These groups that these Brian’s have formed, “Beyond Belief Media” and the


“Rational Response Squad,” are activist organizations designed to bring


together others who reject God, the Bible, and Jesus, while boldly, visibly,


and without shame standing in the marketplace and tearing down the Christian


faith and those who follow Jesus Christ. The movie, “The God Who Wasn’t


There” and the “Blasphemy Challenge” website are tools they are using to


help people who have already rejected the love of Christ to justify their


rejection and find comfort in their choice.

“Sapient.” Flemming was actually raised in a solid Christian home and went


to a Christian school through high school. It was in college that he decided


to reject the faith, and slowly over time, began to allow satan to use him


to actively lead people away from Christ. Both of these men, like all men,


will die one day. At that moment they will stand before God their Creator,


the One who they have denied and mocked, and be cast into hell for all


eternity for their sins.





It is not God’s desire for any man to go to hell. As a matter of fact, the


Bible declares that it is God’s desire for ALL to come to repentance, that


none be lost. Hell was not created for man, but for satan and the fallen


angels who followed him. God has never sent one soul to hell. Those who end


up in hell are there because they choose to go there. How very sad when the


glories of Heaven are available for all who will simply humble themselves


and turn their hearts and lives to Jesus, the One who died for their sins.





Also, pray for our children and young adults. They are growing up in a world


where men now actually use the media to defy God, openly spit in His face


and without shame or conscience reject the love of Jesus Christ. The fact is


we ALL do that every time we sin. Most who sin feel guilt and shame and


sadness. Some men’s hearts are so hard, they plan their sin, video tape it,


and proudly broadcast it for others to see. This is the sick and evil world


we are living in in the year 2007!

of satan like these two Brians are using their time, effort, gifts, talents,


and energy to lead people into the eternal fires of hell. If people can so


faithfully serve satan, why can’t people be even more faithful in serving

It is a good question discussed by many theologians and the jury is still out on an exact definition of the unforgivable sin.


The three things it could be:





1) Cursing and being totally irreverent about the Holy Spirit.





2) Claiming works and miracles done by the Spirit were done by ourselves or much worse, demonic forces.





3) Most think, not believing in God and rejecting the grace of the Holy Spirit when it touches your heart but you ignore it.


Die in this state or committing suicide is considered the ultimate, unforgivable sin, IE blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

you just need to know one thing...if you do do it you'll know you did it immediatly....you can't get into heaven accidently so


you wont go to hell accidently either....
The message of the Holy Spirit is that Jesus is the only way to heaven. If a person dies without believing that (believing the Gospel), then they are sent to eternal hell, because there is no other way to be saved but Jesus. This issue is what is called the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.





Blasphemy in general is speaking against one that is deserving of honor (almost always referring to disrespect to Jesus Christ)
It boils down to one thing 'Denying Christ'..Not getting saved is unforgivable..And you blaspheme when you ignore the calling of the Holy Spirit when He tells your heart 'You should accept Jesus'...and that what you're hearing is truth !

It is my understanding that when you have given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and been forgiven, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit -- you are truly saved.





If someone threatened violence against you unless you denied the Holy Spirit, and you decided to live was more important and did deny or blaspheme the Holy Spirit -- then you have committed the unforgivable sin.

15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.





Blasphemy means deny or refuse the Holy Spirit of God which is unblemished and very Holy


and he can forgive the sin because he works now in the Church after Jesus ascension to the heaven and send the Holy Spirit


so if someone refuse the source of the forgiveness he will not have it, so that it's unforgivable sin.
